Where Did We Begin
In August 1996, when Independent India completed 50 Golden years of Her Independence, imagequity+TM was born in a three – bedroom apartment – to be the Indian Consulting Firm for the World. Inspired by the work done by Dr. Charles Fombrun (the Father and guru of Reputation Management) and influenced by their own experience in industry; our founders – AVIS_chiefdreamer* and Vaani Anand_mothergoose* started on a journey that would transform not just our client organizations but the entire consulting landscape.
In the beginning, the Firm had just two people__its founders. The duo wrote down a simple Vision-and-Mission statement: “We want to be the World’s # 1 Reputation Management Firm by making people realize the value of their Reputation.” It was then an uphill task__considering they were painting on an unknown canvas. And yet, despite challenges, the Vision-and-Mission of the Firm stood us in good stead. Guiding us each step of the way.
With evangelical zeal imagequity+TM got down to making companies realize that pure play PR or Advertising neither build nor protect Reputation. The call was clearly to TRANSFORM. Here’s how our Founders went about evangelizing:

Step 1: Define what do you want to be seen as
Step 2: Ask yourself if your Behavior is consistent with your vision for yourself.
Step 3: Ensure and Enable the right Behavior and Prevent and Prohibit bad Behavior.
If you follow Step 3 consistently, every single moment of your existence, you will be successful in building and protecting the Reputation that you aspire for.
