We Care For Society

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a major pillar in any Reputation-building exercise. It is more than just philanthropy or charity. CSR must go beyond being a mere add-on in a company’s growth plan. CSR needs to become a strategy that is integrated into all aspects of the business. Effective CSR means more than a set of discrete practices or one-off initiatives designed for PR effects. It requires a comprehensive set of policies and practices that are integrated with business operations and decision-making that is supported by Top Management. It needs consistency and dedicated involvement from everyone within an organization.


What is our involvement with CSR?

Through our Do Good TM Program, we have inculcated CSR into the very mainstream of our clients’ business operations. Do Good TM is a tool that helps outline a Social Responsibility Program and assists the company in formulating a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, to make it consistent with the vision and mission of the organization. Importantly we try to weave the relevance of the CSR activity into the mainstream of business activity and help with creative ideation and concepts regarding these.

Many CSR initiatives have been conceived, created and implemented by imagequity+TM based on the needs of our clients and in our effort to bring about a comprehensive approach to CSR. At Pizza Corner, we helped formulate their CSR program with an initiative titled “Food for Good”. The “Food for Good” Program is committed to bringing happiness and joy into the lives of children who are deprived of it. At Polaris Software, we helped implement their CSR initiative “Ullas Trust” which helps deserving students with good academic records who are awarded ‘You Too Can Do It' scholarships that takes care of their annual educational expenses

As part of a 'Reach Out' initiative, we helped another client Tasty Bite contribute proceeds from the sale of each pack of its ready-to-serve products in Bangalore to Project SOS Children's Village. We also helped conceive a touching initiative for Kanya Beauty Salon where they tied up with Can-Stop (an organization working to help cancer patients). Through this, anyone could donate their hair towards making of a wig for cancer afflicted children through the “Cut for a Cause” initiative.


How are we socially responsible?

Our very own CSR comes alive with our association with a special school RASA (www.rasaindia.org). We identified RASA because we felt that there was a compelling synergy between our two organizations and we could identify with their cause. RASA works with special children by using a unique methodology to teach them called THD (Theatre for Holistic Development). The methodology uses dance, drama, music, theatre and story telling to teach children who have various disabilities. Conceived and created by their founder Dr.Ambika Kameshwar, THD has been widely praised because of its effectiveness. Being a creative organization, we believe that just as we use unique creative strategies to help solve client problems and take them closer to their Reputation Goals, RASA uses creative methodologies very uniquely to help special children.

imagequity+TM helps RASA by being continuously supportive, sponsoring a child and helping with fund raising opportunities. We are also directly involved with innovative campaigns and ideas and offer our support wholeheartedly towards all activities conducted by RASA.
